Deal: Amazon Discounts Security and Surveillance Systems - Today Only

Today only, Amazon is discounting a number of security and surveillance systems, in its Gold Box Deal of the day, which makes it a great time to pick up a few cameras to keep your home safe. These include some of those old fashioned surveillance systems as well, so if you want to home surveillance yourself instead of paying a company to do so, Amazon has you covered.

Included in this Gold Box Deal is a 3-pack of NETGEAR's Arlo Pro 2 cameras, which is going to allow you to keep an eye on your home pretty easily, without needing to run power everywhere for these cameras. These are wire-free and do work outside as well as inside, which is a good thing here. There's also the Zmodo Video Doorbell on sale, which is priced at $134 right now, and as you'd expect, it does have a camera built-in. The Wisenet SmartCam D1 video doorbell and is also priced at $169. These are both great, and inexpensive video doorbells that are going to be easy to install in front of your home. There are also some surveillance systems on sale today, including the LaView 4-Megapixel 8-Channel PoE 4K NVR Security Camera System which is good for $499 off of its regular price. This is a good option for keeping an eye on your office when you aren't there.

These are also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
