Blackview has announced that the BV9500 and BV9500 Pro smartphones are now available for pre-order. The Blackview BV9500 is available via the company's website, while the BV9500 Pro is available for pre-order via Indiegogo, where the company raised plenty of cash for the device. Having said that, you can now get the Blackview BV9500 for $269.99 in Black, Yellow, and Green color variants, while the company says that the phone will ship after July 25. The Blackview BV9500 Pro, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be available via a regular pre-order, as you can still 'back' this smartphone on Indiegogo, as there's still one month to go in its campaign, and a list of offers is available via the link provided down below.
In addition to announcing that both devices are available for pre-order, Blackview also released a promo video for the Blackview BV9500 Pro. In it, Blackview's Chief Project Manager (CPM), Alexandre, talks about the device, and you can also check out the phone in the video as well. Both the Blackview BV9500 and BV9500 Pro are rugged smartphones. The Blackview BV9500 comes with a 5.7-inch fullHD+ IPS display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device is fueled by the Helio P23 64-bit octa-core processor, and it comes with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the phone, while the device is also MIL-STD-810G-rated. The Blackview BV9500 is drop proof up to 1.8m, and it has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. NFC is included in this package as well, while a 16-megapixel dual camera setup (f/2.0 aperture, 6P lens) sits on the back of this phone.
On the other hand, the Blackview BV9500 Pro is quite similar to the BV9500, but it's a bit more powerful. The Blackview BV9500 Pro features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, instead of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage on the BV9500. The device is fueled by the same SoC as the BV9500, while it is also IP68-certified. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the BV9500 Pro, while the device comes with a 10,000mAh battery, just like its sibling, and it sports the same dual camera setup on the back. It is also worth noting that the BV9500 Pro has a walkie-talkie function, unlike the BV9500. If you're interested in any of these two devices, links are available down below.
