Top 10 Best Car Mounts For Android Smartphones - June 2018

Car mounts are something that everyone needs for their smartphone. In fact, many States are now requiring that you use a car mount while in the car, otherwise you cannot use your phone and you'll get a ticket. Seeing as these mounts are all - for the most part - under $10, there's really no reason not to pick one up. There are many different car mounts out there, in all different shapes and sizes. We've rounded up the best car mounts available for Android smartphones and these are all universal, so they'll work with any device.

One of our favorites on this list is the CD Slot Car Mount from Satechi. This is a great looking car mount that doesn't really get in the way when not in use, but it also works well for mounting your phone. It is a magnetic mount, so you will need to slide a magnet inside your phone's case to use it, which isn't hard. And Satechi includes plastic film so you can put the magnet inside the case without affixing it to the phone or the case. Making it easier to move it from one phone to another. It's a great looking car mount, and really works well, especially for those that have CD slots that aren't being used.

Another favorite is the Spigen Stealth Kuel car mount. This is a car mount that actually folds down when not in use. Which is why it's called "Stealth", because you won't even notice it is there. It is able to hold your phone in landscape mode, and will work with just about any smartphone as well. So you can put your phone in there and use it for navigation and such without any issues really, which is definitely a good thing. Both of these car mounts are great, but so are the other eight that are listed below. You really can't go wrong with any of them listed below, and they are all under $20.

Maxboost Universal Air Vent Magnetic Phone Car Mounts (2-Pack)

Maxboost has a two pack of air vent car mounts here. These are magnetic, so you can place the magnet inside your phone's case and then just place your phone on the mount when you get in the car. Making things very simple to get started. This is a great one to grab, since it'll be further down and easier to reach, than on the dashboard.

iOttie Easy One Touch 4 Dashboard & Windshield Car Mount

This is part of iOttie's new line of car mounts, which will work on the dashboard of your vehicle and it doesn't use a magnet to hold your phone in place. Which is nice for those that don't want to use magnets. It will still work with virtually any smartphone out there, which is also pretty good.

Lamicall Magnetic Phone Car Mount

This is another magnetic car mount that attaches to your vent. This one is able to be articulated in different angles which is really nice, as you can put it in the angle you want and feel the most comfortable with. It's definitely a good option, and still fairly small which is also important when it comes to car mounts.

SCOSCHE MPVA MagicMount Pro Magnetic Phone/GPS Vent Mount

SCOSCHE has a good looking magnetic air vent mount here too. This one also attaches to your air vent, and puts your phone in a good position to use it for navigation and such while you're driving. It does also use magnets to keep your phone in place, which is pretty cool, and works really well.

iOttie Easy One Touch 4 CD Slot Car Mount

This is another good option from iOttie, which uses the CD Slot in your car to hold your phone in place. Like the other model on this list, it does not use a magnet to hold your phone in place. Instead, it uses adjustable arms, which many people may prefer over using a magnet to do the same thing.

Satechi Universal Smartphone CD Slot Mount

If you're looking for a good looking CD Slot car mount, then Satechi has you covered. This is a great one to pick up, as it looks great when it's not in use, and also works really well. This mount also comes with protective film, so you can put the magnet inside your phone's case and take it out and into another phone's case anytime. Which is really convenient.

AUKEY Car Phone Mount

AUKEY also has a pretty good looking car mount here, one that attaches to the air vent in your car and makes it easier to drive. This one is very small, and it's out of the way when you're not using it, which is a really nice touch, to be honest. It is a magnetic one, so it will use a magnet to hold your phone in place, as expected.

Valuable Finds Car Mount for Popsockets

If you use a Popsocket on your phone to hold it in your hand easier, then this car mount is a must have. It uses the Popsocket to keep the phone in the mount, and doesn't require anything extra. It's pretty neat, and already uses something that's on your phone. This way you don't need to use a magnet to hold your phone in place.

Spigen Kuel A201 Car Phone Mount

Spigen's Kuel A201 is a great car phone mount to pick up as well. This is another air vent mount that uses magnets to hold your phone in place. It's a bit bigger, so it'll work with larger phones and even tablets, if you wanted to use your tablet in the car for navigation and such. It's also one of the cheaper ones available right now, so definitely worth buying.

Spigen Kuel S40 Stealth Car Mount

This is another option from Spigen and it's really more of a phone holder. It's a stealthy looking mount. This mount sits on your dashboard, and you can open it to put your phone inside in landscape mode. It's pretty small when not in use, so it doesn't really get in the way of seeing through the windshield which is nice.
