'Run Candy Run' Is A Simple Game With Interesting Design

If you’re into simple, arcade games, well, Run Candy Run may be just right for you. This is a new game that appeared in the Google Play Store, and after 20 reviews it is holding a 4.9-star rating. This game comes from a company called “RUD Present”, a game development company which already released a number of successful games in the play store, such as Steel Armor, Pixel Boy: Summer Adventures, and Pixel Ninja. This company actually focuses on simple games with simple graphics, and it seems like it’s working for them.

In any case, Run Candy Run is an arcade game in which you’re running away from a hungry boy, basically. The premise is quite simple and not that important, but it’s giving some meaning to the story, at least. Candy was living happily behind a huge wall, until a hungry boy came, knocked down the wall, and that’s when the trouble started. This game is using rather interesting graphics, everything looks like it’s made out of plasticine, which is something you’ll either love or hate, but it’s interesting, to say the least. In the game, you’re able to unlock various different characters, ranging from lollipops and caramels, to toffees and chocolates. From one level to the next you will be collecting coins, which you’ll use to unlock new characters, and in levels themselves, you will be required to avoid various obstacles. Candy runs on its own, and it’s up to you to navigate it through various levels, so all you have to do is tap the display at the right time, basically.

A number of different levels are included in this game, and music is quite soothing, for the most part, at least in the first couple of levels that we had a chance to play through. This game does contain ads, though it’s free to play, you don’t have to pay in order to progress, or anything of the sort.
