RHA has now announced the release of its latest pair of earphones, the MA390 Wireless. As the name suggests, these are a follow up product to the standard MA390 earphones released last year although they do differ in one obvious respect - they are wireless. Therefore, interested buyers should expect the same level of sound quality on offer with the wired MA390 earphones, along with a much greater degree of freedom. As these are wireless earphones, they do come with a battery inside which RHA states is capable of running for up to eight hours on a single charge, and when a charge is needed the MA390 Wireless are expected to gain a full battery again in ninety minutes.
Bluetooth underpins the wireless connectivity and in particular the MA390 wireless utilize version 4.1, resulting in the ability to connect and maintain a connection up to a distance of ten meters away from a streaming device. in addition, these headphones are capable of pairing with more than one device at the same time which should make it easier to switch between devices without having to terminate one connection in favor of the other. The frequency range on offer comes in at 16 Hz – 22,000 Hz, while both aptX and AAC supports are included to offer a richer sound. Although these are not true wireless earphones, the benefit of a cable connecting the two sides is the included in-line remote control, as here you will find a three-button panel to control the volume, switch between tracks and make use of the various smart features, including voice assistants such as Google Assistant. Closing out the feature list is an IPX4 rating which should mean these earphones are protected against light water encounters, including exposure to rain and/or sweat.
In spite of these being wireless earphones and coming with an RHA signature sound, they are also designed to be highly affordable with the new MA390 Wireless now set to hit the market priced at $69.95 in the US, £59.95 in the UK, and €69.95 in mainland Europe. Speaking of which, the MA390 Wireless are expected to go on general sale on later this week on June 28, although the company had opted to start pre-orders a little earlier through Amazon.
