Optoma Launches NuForce BE Sport4 In-Ear Headphones For $79

Optoma has now announced its latest pair of in-ear headphones, the NuForce BE Sport4. Like its predecessors, the NuForce BE Sport4 headphones are designed with sports-oriented users in mind although they do offer enough benefits to suit a wider range of consumers. In terms of availability, Optoma has confirmed the NuForce BE Sport4 are already available to buy from a number of select retailers including Amazon, B&H, Fry’s, and Newegg, along with a retail price of $79 in the US.

While these are designed to cater to active lifestyle users due to the more rugged build quality and IPX5 (sweat and rain) level of water-resistance, the company is also positioning them as an “audiophile-quality” option that offers a “world-class audio performance,” This is primarily thanks to the inclusion of 6 mm graphene-coated drivers, a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20,000 Hz, as well as AAC and aptX support. A combination of durability and sound quality which the company hopes will prove attractive to general consumers.

These are Bluetooth-enabled (v4.1) headphones although they are not true wireless headphones. Resulting in the employment of a cable joining the two sides along with an in-line remote to control volume and track selection. In addition, the in-line remote does also support voice assistants, allowing for the activation of the likes of Google Assistant just by holding down a button. With these being Bluetooth-enabled headphones, they do come with a battery inside and this is another aspect Optoma is using as one of the main selling points with the company suggesting the NuForce BE Sport4 headphones are capable of running for up to ten hours on the back of a single charge. When a charge is needed, as little as fifteen minutes is said to result in up to two hours of additional usage due to the included faster charging support. To add further to the package, Optoma is offering buyers the choice of color with the NuForce BE Sport4 now available in either a black or silver main color, and each purchase comes packaged with a number of SpinFit TwinBlade ear tips to further ensure a suitable level of comfort for each wearer.
