In addition to announcing its all-new Find X flagship, OPPO has also introduced a special edition variant of that phone with Lamborghini branding. The OPPO Find X Lamborghini Limited Edition is the official name of the device, and it comes with a carbon fiber back, and 512GB of internal storage. On the back of the phone, you will easily notice Lamborghini’s logo, and that is actually a 3D logo.
Now, one of the main features of the OPPO Find X Lamborghini Edition is the Super VOOC Flash Charge technology that was introduced back at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016. This fast charging technology is based on a low voltage pulse algorithm and customized super battery developed by the company. OPPO claims that this technology can charge up a 2,500mAh battery in only 15 minutes, at least that’s what the company said back in 2016. The OPPO Find X features a 3,400mAh battery pack, and the company says that it will take Super VOOC fast charging only 35 minutes in order to get this battery from 0 to 100 percent. In order to achieve this, OPPO packs in a 10V/5A (50W) Super VOOC charge along with the OPPO Find X Lamborghini Limited Edition handset. Other than the carbon fiber back, and the Lamborghini logo, this special edition OPPO Find X looks like the regular OPPO Find X. The OPPO Find X Lamborghini Edition does come with more storage, and faster charging than the Find X, but other than that, the phone is identical to the regular Find X model.
The OPPO Find X Lamborghini Limited Edition features a 6.42-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) AMOLED display, which translates to a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and the company calls it the ‘Panoramic Arc’ display. On top of this display, you’re getting Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection, while the phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor. The device comes with 8GB of RAM and it ships with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, with OPPO’s ColorOS 5.1 skin. 16 and 20-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the device, while you will find a single 25-megapixel camera on the phone’s front side. This smartphone is priced at €1,699 ($1,970), and it comes in a special packaging which is noticeably different than Find X’s packaging. The device is expected to go on sale in August along with the regular OPPO Find X.
