Google has recently launched the Google Marketing Platform Partners program. This program offers resources that enable companies to fully take advantage of the products and tools incorporated into the Google Marketing Platform. Moreover, through this program, companies have the option to either develop their workers' skills in using the products of the search giant's service or collaborate with service providers that already have the necessary expertise and training. This program designates partners into three different designations. The first designation, dubbed as Certified Individuals, refers to people who have read the self-study modules developed by the search giant and successfully completed the individual product certifications. The certified individuals are trained on specific Google Marketing Platform products, which include display and video advertising, search advertising, analytics and testing, and creative design.

The other two designations of this program, which are Certified Companies and Sales Partners, refer to the companies that have met the standards set by Google, which ensures that they have the expertise needed to support businesses that use the Google Marketing Platform. Both designations require that partners have staff who are certified in the tools included with the search giant's service, good customer references, and extensive practical and industry experience. Partner companies categorized into these two designations both offer consultation, training, system integration and technical support services. However, service providers categorized under the Sales Partners designation work more closely with the search giant in providing consultation and support services.

The Google Marketing Platform was formed by the consolidation of DoubleClick Digital Marketing and Google Analytics 360 Suite, and it offers features that help companies develop more effective marketing strategies. The search giant offers free analytics and intuitive testing tools for smaller businesses, while more comprehensive advertising tools are also available for larger enterprises. Right now, the search giant claims that more than 500 companies are already part of the Google Marketing Platform Partners program, and it is working to add more partners in different countries and regions around the world. Moreover, the tech firm also mentioned that it is improving its set of self-study resources and product certifications, which should further improve the capacity of its partners in supporting businesses that use its marketing service.
