Deal: Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact Unlocked Android Smartphone For $599 - June 2018

Amazon is currently taking $50 off of the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, bringing the price down to $599. This marks the first price drop on the Xperia XZ2 Compact since it launched last month, so that means that this is the lowest price ever for this smartphone. Of course it is still brand spanking new.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact is a pretty decent "small" smartphone from Sony. But just because it is a smaller device, doesn't mean it's a mid-ranger. It sports a Snapdragon 845 chipset inside with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The same specs you'd find on the regular Xperia XZ2. It has a 5-inch full HD+ display. It's now a 5-incher because Sony has gone the route of taller displays, with a 18:9 aspect ratio here. So you're getting more screen and less bezel which is nice. Additionally, the Xperia XZ2 Compact is made of polycarbonate, that means that it won't be as fragile as other smartphones on the market, and it won't pick up fingerprints super easily, which is also a good thing. The Xperia XZ2 Compact is a great device to pick up for a number of reasons, including the fact that the fingerprint sensor does work now. There is a fingerprint sensor on the backside of the device, that can be used for unlocking the Xperia XZ2 Compact.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
