Deal: Sonos PLAYBAR TV Soundbar for $629 - June 2018

Amazon has the Sonos PLAYBAR down to $629, in what is a very rare discount on the PLAYBAR. That brings the price down from $699, or about $70 off of its regular price. That is definitely not a big discount - around 10-percent - but seeing as Sonos almost never discounts its products, this is definitely a good time to pick one up.

The PLAYBAR is Sonos' original soundbar, and while it has released the PLAYBASE and BEAM since then, the PLAYBAR has not been discontinued or replaced. So it's still a good pick up. The PLAYBAR is great for those that have a home entertainment system and are looking for a better soundbar. This is going to work with your TV over a wired connection, but can also work with your phone and other devices over WiFi. It does not support Bluetooth, like many other Sonos devices, instead it only uses WiFi for wireless audio. This brings you better audio quality, and also multi-room support. That is because you can hook the PLAYBAR up with other Sonos speakers for a surround sound setup. like two other Sonos ONE or PLAY:3 speakers. And really have a good setup in your living room or den. If you've been waiting to pick up a PLAYBAR, now is definitely the time to do so, and it likely won't last at this price for long.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $119/year (or $59/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
