Chrome Gold Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium Leaks In Real-Life Image

Sony had introduced the Xperia XZ2 Premium in two colors, Chrome Black and Chrome Silver, and a new color variant has just surfaced. If you take a look at the provided image, you will be able to see the Chrome Gold Xperia XZ2 Premium, which will presumably become a reality in the near future. Other than the color change, this phone is probably identical to the other two variants, we can only see the back side of the device here, unfortunately, but the image is rather sharp, so it seems obvious that this is just a new color option that Sony is planning to offer soon.

Sony had introduced the Xperia XZ2 Premium in April, but the device is still not available for purchase, though it will be later this month. It is still unknown whether this new Chrome Gold variant of the device will go on sale with the other two models, or will Sony opt to present it after Chrome Black and Chrome Silver variants become available, though the latter scenario is more probable, and it also remains to be seen if the Chrome Gold option will be available globally, or just in some regions. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is the most powerful smartphone Sony introduced to date, as it trumps even the Xperia XZ2, even though both devices are fueled by the same SoC, and do have somewhat similar specs. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is made out of metal and glass, and unlike the Xperia XZ2, it sports two cameras on the back. Below those two cameras, you will notice a fingerprint scanner, while the device actually comes with a 5.8-inch 3840 x 2160 display, which translates to a regular 16:9 ratio, which makes this phone rather wide at 80mm.

The Xperia XZ2 Premium is fueled by the Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core processor, while it includes 6GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. Android 8.0 Oreo comes pre-installed on the device, while a 3,540mAh battery is also included, and it supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. The device features 19 and 12-megapixel cameras on the back, and a single 13-megapixel camera on its front side. If you'd like to know more about the Xperia XZ2 Premium click here.
