Blink's Security Camera Costs $99, Offers 2-Year Battery Life

If you’re looking to get a home security camera system, well, Blink’s offering is quite compelling, though do keep in mind this is an indoor home security camera system we’re talking about. Blink’s home security camera system is currently available on Amazon, and it comes in several options. The standard package includes one camera and, along with Blink’s hub which connects to your router, while options with 2, 3, 4 and 5 cameras are also included. The standard package is priced at $99, while adding more cameras will increase the price tag, of course.

Having said that, there are a number of home security options out there, but most of them are quite expensive, not to say that Blink’s solution is extremely cheap, but it’s something to consider if you’re looking to boost your home security. The company claims that you will get 2-year battery life with its camera, which is a strong claim, and also something that not many companies offer. Cloud storage is included in this package also, in case you were wondering, you will not be required to pay monthly fees for cloud storage or anything of the sort. It is also worth noting that this camera system requires you to have iOS 9.3 or Android 4.4 KitKat (or newer) installed on your smart device, as you will need to download Blink’s app in order to take control of the company’s security system.

Having said that, Blink’s home security camera system offers your regular set of security features, it serves as a motion sensor alarm, as it can detect motion and send an alert on your phone. It can also record a short clip once it detects movement, if that’s what you want it to do. The company it’s really easy to install its camera system, as you can do it within minutes.
