Ulefone Power 5's 13,000 mAh Battery Tested In New Video

One of the major selling points with the Ulefone Power 5 is the expected levels of battery life, as this is a phone equipped with a 13,000 mAh capacity battery. Which is equal to three to four times the battery capacity on offer with the current crop of major phones. By that token it could be assumed the Ulefone Power 5 is capable of running for up to four times longer than those other phones and according to Ulefone, it can. As the company states the Power 5’s battery capacity is great enough to last for up to seven days on a single charge.

While that is a bold claim in spite of the battery capacity, Ulefone is looking to add some substance to those claims as it has now released a new video which shows the Power 5 undertaking a battery-focused test. As is typical of this sort of test the video shows the Power 5 undergoing a range of tasks including video and music playback, voice calls, video recording, and so on. While this normally results in a dent to the battery life, that does not seem to really be the case for the Power 5. Yes, it does see some battery depletion but it is minor compared to what would be expected. For example, over the course of four and a half hours of testing where six phone-demanding tasks were performed the Power 5's battery only depleted by 17-percent. From results like this the company suggests the phone will easily be able to handle up to seven days when used under more typical circumstances. Of course, when it does need to be recharged the Power 5 supports fast charging, as well as wireless charging for added convenience.

As for the rest of the specs, the Power 5 features a 6-inch display along with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Inside, the Power 5 comes loaded with 6GB RAM, 64GB storage, and is powered by a MediaTek MT6763 octa-core processor. In addition, the Power 5 is also equipped with dual cameras on the front of the phone as well as dual cameras on the back, support for facial recognition is included as well as a fingerprint sensor, and Android 8.1 (Oreo) is the operating system in use. In terms of the price, the Power 5 can currently be picked up for $269.99.
