UAG Intros Plasma & Plyo Cases For The Huawei P20 & P20 Pro

Urban Armor Gear (UAG) has just released two new cases for the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro, and it refers to them as ‘outdoor-ready’ cases. The cases in question are the Plasma and Plyo, and both are now available for the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro from the company’s official website (link is included down below). The Plasma series case is priced at $39.95, and it’s available in ‘Ash’ color variant, while the Plyo series case costs $39.95, and it comes in ‘Ice’ color option.

Both of these are rugged cases, and both are really light, says the company, UAG actually says that both cases are “feather-light”, in any case, they’re lighter than they look. The Plasma series case comes with reinforced corners, which should offer proper protection against drops, and the company says that the case comes with “an impact-resistant soft core”. The Plasma series case is also not slippery at all, claims the company, while you can pay for stuff using NFC while this case is on without a problem. This case’s skid pads are scratch-resistant, and the case meets military drop-test standards (MIL STD 810G 516.6), in case you were wondering. This case also comes with a one year warranty, and shipping is free within the US. The Plyo series case is more subtle than the Lasma series one, though it also offers really good protection, and reinforced corners. This case also comes with an impact-resistant soft core, This case is also compatible with NFC payments, and it meets military drop-test standards, just like the Plasma series case.

The Huawei P20 and P20 Pro are Huawei’s flagship handsets which were announced during this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The two phones are made out of metal and glass, and both are fueled by the Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core SoC. The Huawei P20 Pro features three cameras on the back, and is considered to be one of the best camera phones out there at the moment, while the Huawei P20 comes with two cameras, and is also quite a capable camera phone. The two devices do look almost identical, though their specifications are considerably different, click here if you’d like to know more.
