Samsung Targets Video Monitoring With PRO Endurance microSD

Samsung has targeted video monitoring with its new PRO Endurance microSD cards which come in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB options for storage, and come with read speeds of up to 100MB/s as well as write speeds of up to 30MB/s, in addition to support for recording at Full HD and 4K resolution. These new cards were designed with the use of intensive video monitoring in mind and provide varied amounts of video recording time based on the capacity of the card that you choose.

For instance, the 32GB model will provide up to 17,520 hours of video recording/monitoring in Full HD, while the higher capacity 128GB model will provide up to 43,800 hours of monitoring. Though these cards are small they come with big protection. Samsung has designed them with what it calls 4-Proof protection, a name which makes perfect sense considering the cards are designed to be waterproof, x-ray proof, temperature proof, and magnetic proof, meaning you won't have to worry about the car getting damaged from these types of situations.

Samsung's new cards also come with a limited warranty that spans up to five years, though this only applies to the 128GB card. For the 64GB card the warranty is up to three years, and the 32GB card warranty is up to two years, so consumers will want to keep that in mind when deciding which one to buy. Speaking of buying, all three cards are already available via Amazon at $99 for the 128GB card, $50 for the 64GB card, or $30 for the 32GB card. Samsung is also selling these cars on its own online shop, though at the moment it seems only the 32GB card is available as it's the only one listed on the site. That said, if you're in the market for a new microSD card for any of your devices, you can grab any of them from the button below.
