OPPO Realme 1 Unveiled In India With 6GB Of RAM, Android 8.1

The OPPO Realme 1 is now official in India, a result of a partnership between OPPO and Amazon India. The two companies actually joined forces earlier this month in order to announce the “Realme” brand, and the OPPO Realme 1 is the first smartphone that is being announced under that brand name. This phone is made out of metal and glass, and it has a diamond pattern on the back, just like the OPPO A3, but it does not have a display notch, unlike the OPPO A3.

The OPPO Realme 1’s display sports curved corners, while this is a mid-range smartphone, in case you didn’t know that. The phone sports a single camera on the back, while its power / lock key is included on the right. The volume up and volume down buttons are placed on the left-hand side of this smartphone, and the device does not have a fingerprint scanner, which is quite interesting. This handset sports a 6-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) IPS display, 3GB / 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of expandable storage. The device is fueled by the MediaTek Helio P60 64-bit octa-core processor, and a 3,410mAh battery is also included in this package. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the OPPO Realme 1 handset, along with OPPO’s ColorOS 5.0 skin. A 3.5mm headphone jack is included in the package as well, while the phone comes with a dual SIM setup (2x nano SIM), while a separate microSD card slot is included as well. A 13-megapixel camera (f/2.2 aperture) is placed on the back of this smartphone, while an 8-megapixel camera (f/2.2) sits on the phone’s front side. The device measures 156 x 75.3 x 7.8mm, while it weighs 158 grams.

This handset has been announced in Diamond Black and Moonlight Silver color variants, while it comes in three variants, as already mentioned above. The OPPO Realme 1 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage is priced at Rs. 8,990, while its 4GB RAM counterpart which comes with 64GB of storage carries a price tag of Rs. 10,990. The most expensive and most powerful Realme 1 handset comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while it costs Rs. 13,990. The latter also comes with a free screen protector, and a case. 3GB and 6GB RAM OPPO Realme 1 variants will become available on Amazon India starting on May 25, while a 4GB RAM model will join them later on it seems.
