The OnePlus 6 is already available for pre-order over at O2 in the UK. This UK-based carrier has announced that it will be the exclusive UK high street retailer for the OnePlus 6, and that the Mirror Black and Midnight Black variants will go on sale on May 22, same as everywhere else. Pre-orders are already open over at O2, just in case you’d like to reserve one for yourself, and O2 mentioned that those of you who pre-order the phone will be able to get it one day before it becomes officially available, that means you’ll be able to get it on May 21.
O2 has announced that prices for the phone start at £40 per month, and we’re talking about various tariffs here, of course. You can get the device for £19.99 upfront, then pay £40 a month, and that will get you a 4GB Airtime Plan from the company. If you opt to pay £19.99 upfront and £46 a month, you can get an 8GB Airtime Plan from the company. There are all sorts of tariffs on offer over at O2, in case you’d like to see what other options the company has to offer. Now, it is worth saying that those of you who want to recycle your current smartphone and buy a OnePlus 6 can do so over at O2, as the company is offering £50 extra on top of its usual O2 Recycle payment when you upgrade. The OnePlus 6 was announced in London yesterday, as most of you probably already know, and it will become available for purchase directly from OnePlus on May 22, on the same day it becomes available from O2 as well.
OnePlus had introduced three OnePlus 6 variants yesterday, Midnight Black, Mirror Black, and Silk White, the first two go on sale on May 22, while the Silk White model will not be available until June 5, and that is a limited edition model, OnePlus said. The OnePlus 6 features a 6.28-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display, 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB / 256GB of native storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core SoC fuels the phone, while a 3,300mAh battery is also included here, and the same can be said for OnePlus’ proprietary fast charging called Dash Charge. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the phone, along with OxygenOS, OnePlus’ skin.
