OnePlus 6 Avengers Edition Hits India With Launch Promotions

The OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition is now available for purchase in India, with the special iteration of the recently released Android flagship being offered alongside a number of launch promotions. As is the case with the regular variant of the phablet, the Avengers-themed model is an Amazon India exclusive in the South Asian country as far as third-party retailers are concerned. The handset can still be purchased directly from OnePlus, with its price sitting at Rs. 44,999, i.e. just over $660, which is in line with the price attached to the most premium iteration of the handset.

Indian consumers who opt to purchase the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition can take advantage of a no-cost equated monthly installment plan spanning up to three banks, with the promotion being offered by all major banks in the country. An Rs. 2,000 ($30) cashback on Citibank cards is also on the table but only applies to the first week of the phone's commercial availability. Idea subscribers can avail an Rs. 2,000 cashback on device insurance plans after purchasing the Avengers-themed phablet as well. Amazon Prime Video users will get Rs. 250 ($3.50) in credit alongside their purchase, whereas the device is also being offered alongside a number of discounts on Amazon Kindle titles and ClearTrip travel arrangements. The Kotak 811 service is also offering Servify-enabled and year-long Accidental Damage Insurance plan alongside every purchase, with consumers being able to take advantage of it by simply downloading the firm's Android app.

The limited edition of the OnePlus 6 comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space, being the third variant of the handset to debut in India. The Silk White variant of the Android flagship is set to go on sale in the country on Tuesday, June 5. The Chinese electronics maker already confirmed the OnePlus 6 is its fastest-selling offering to date, having previously signaled it will also be releasing the OnePlus 6T in the final quarter of the year.
