Nokia 6.1 Now Available Unlocked For $269 From Amazon

The Nokia 6.1 (2018) was announced earlier this week as a mid-ranger destined for the US. Now the device is available for purchase from Amazon. It's priced at $269 and has 32GB of storage, pitting it against Motorola's Moto G lineup. It is an unlocked Android smartphone and will work with both AT&T and T-Mobile here in the US, as well as MVNO's that run on those networks like Straight Talk, Simple Mobile, Mint SIM and many others. Unfortunately, it does not work on CDMA carriers like Verizon and Sprint.

There's a 5.5-inch full HD display available here on the Nokia 6.1 (2018), which is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 630 chipset. It's a nice improvement over the previous Nokia 6 that HDM Global launched last year, with a much faster and more efficient processor under the hood. It does also sport 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, along with a micro SD card slot for expanding storage - should you need to do so. It's a pretty decent smartphone from Nokia, that's going to sell pretty well, since it is fairly cheap as well. It is also an Android One smartphone. That means that it is running the latest version of Android - that's Android Oreo - and it is stock Android. But more importantly, that means that it is going to get quick updates. That's always important these days when talking about smartphones. Finally, the Nokia 6.1 (2018) has a 3000mAh battery inside to keep it running all day long. Of course, since it does have the Snapdragon 630 chipset inside, it does also support Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 standard for fast charging, in fact Nokia says you can get up to a 50-percent charge in about 30 minutes.

Amazon is selling the Nokia 6.1 (2018) unlocked at $269, which is a pretty good price for this smartphone. It's available in just one color - Black. It does have a pretty good looking design, with a metal unibody and black bezels around the display. As mentioned, the Nokia 6.1 (2018) will work on AT&T and T-Mobile here in the US, and not on CDMA carriers, so keep that in mind before purchasing.
