Honor has just launched its new flagship in India, following its launch in London which took place yesterday. It is worth noting that the Honor 10 originally launched in China last month, and that we’re looking at more or less the same phone here, though with a global version of Huawei’s EMUI skin, of course, and depending on the market, different RAM and storage setups. Having said that, Honor had introduced only a 4GB RAM variant of the Honor 10 in Europe, with either 64GB or 128GB of storage, while the company decided to launch one 6GB RAM model in India, which we’ll talk about in a minute.

The Honor 10 is a phone made out of metal and glass, it does sport a display notch, and it has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner below its display, its fingerprint scanner is not under the display, but it is under the glass, and it is usable even if your hands are wet. The Honor 10 features two cameras on the back, a reflective back, and its back side is curved. The device features a 5.84-inch fullHD+ (2240 x 1080) display, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is fueled by the Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core processor, which is Huawei’s most powerful chip out there at the moment. A 3,400mAh battery is also included in this package, while the phone features 16-megapixel (f/1.8 aperture, RGB sensor) and 24-megapixel (f/2.0 aperture, monochrome sensor) cameras on the back. A 24-megapixel camera (f/2.0 aperture) sits on the phone’s front side, while Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the phone, along with Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.1 skin. A 3.5mm headphone jack is a part of this package as well, as is a Type-C port which is located on the bottom. The Honor 10 comes with two nano SIM card slots, and Bluetooth 4.2 LE. The phone measures 149.6 x 71.2 x 7.7mm, while it weighs 153 grams.

The device comes to India in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue color variants, while it launched in four color variants in Europe. The device is priced at Rs. 32,999 ($486) in India, and it is already available for pre-order in the country, you can pre-order it via Flipkart.
