Honor 10 Coming To India This Month As Flipkart Exclusive

Honor had introduced its new flagship, the Honor 10, in China quite recently, while Honor and Flipkart just confirmed that the phone is coming to India soon. The device will be announced by the end of this month, and it will be available exclusively from Flipkart. Interestingly enough, Honor's current flagship in India is the Honor View 10, and that handset was announced as an Amazon exclusive earlier this year.

In any case, the Honor 10 is expected to launch in London on May 15, that will be the phone's global announcement, and it will most probably be introduced in India shortly after that, even though a specific date was not confirmed by Honor or Flipkart. The Indian unit of the Honor 10 will quite probably be identical to the Chinese one, though it will arrive with the global version of Huawei's Emotion UI (EMUI) skin, and it is possible that different RAM / storage variants may be available in India. In any case, the Honor 10 is a phone which is made out of metal and glass, and it resembles the Huawei P20 quite a bit. The device comes with a display notch, and it's actually quite compact despite its larger display, mainly thanks to its 19:9 aspect ratio, and extremely thin bezels. The Honor 10 does sport a 'chin' below its display, while its fingerprint scanner sits below the display.

The Honor 10 comes with a 5.84-inch fullHD+ (2240 x 1080) display, 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of storage, at least that was the setup that was announced in China. It is possible that a 4GB RAM variant may arrive to Europe and India, so keep that in mind. The device is fueled by the Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core processor, which is Huawei's most powerful chip at the moment. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the Honor 10, along with Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.1, while a 3,400mAh battery is also included in the Honor 10 package. 16 and 24-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the Honor 10, while you will find a single 24-megapixel camera on the device's front side. A 3.5mm headphone jack is included here as well, and so are two SIM card slots (2x nano SIM).
