Deal: Samsung POWERbot Star Wars Limited Edition Robot Vacuum for $379 – 5/5/18

Amazon currently has the Star Wars Limited Edition version of the Samsung POWERbot on sale for just $379. That's a really low price, considering the original price here was $799. So it's definitely worth picking up, even more so if you're a big Star Wars fan.

This robot vacuum was painted to look like Darth Vader, and Samsung did a pretty good job with that. But other than the paint job, there's not much different here from Samsung's other robot vacuums. The POWERbot will still roam around your home cleaning up and making sure everything is nice and clean. It has a three-stage system for cleaning your home, so that it will get everything, even pet hair. Samsung touts that it has 20-times more suction power than its previous robot vacuums. Battery life here will last roughly around 90 minutes, before it'll return to its base. It is app-controlled, so you can set up a schedule to have it start cleaning at specific times, or just make it start cleaning now. But on top of that, it is also compatible with Amazon Alexa. This means that you'll be able to ask Alexa to have the POWERbot begin cleaning. A pretty nifty feature that a lot of robot vacuums are gaining these days. There's no support for the Google Assistant or Bixby, yet.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year (or $49/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
