Deal: Fitbit Flyer Wireless Headphones for $99 - 5/1/18

Amazon has discounted the Fitbit Flyer wireless headphones just in time for Mother's Day. The Fitbit Flyer is usually priced at $129, but today you can pick up a pair for just $99. That's good for a 25% discount or $30 off of its regular price.

The Fitbit Flyer wireless headphones were announced last year, along with the Ionic - the company's first smartwatch. The Flyer is a decent pair of wireless headphones from Fitbit. It is the company's first pair of wireless headphones, so they aren't perfect, but they'll do the job. The Flyer is unique because it is integrated with the Ionic and Versa smartwatches, allowing you to play music stored on your smartwatch, through the Flyer without needing a smartphone with you. Now you can do that with other headphones too, but it works a bit better here, with less lag. The Flyer do work with regular smartphones and other Bluetooth devices for playing music, and they also look pretty good. Fitbit offers them in a few different colors: Lunar Gray and Nightfall Blue, both of which are on sale for $99 right now. These offer up about six hours of playtime, which is about the average time for wireless headphones these days. So nothing too crazy. There is an in-line remote for controlling music, as well as a microphone for taking calls.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year (or $49/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
