Top 10 Best Micro SD Cards For Honor 7X - April 2018

The Honor 7X is a great smartphone, and perhaps the best smartphone under $200. Although in 2018, the 32GB of storage here might be a little on the light side for many people. However, Honor did opt to keep that micro SD card slot, so that you can still add in some more storage here and double that storage, or even go as insane as adding 400GB of storage. The Honor 7X does not sport Adoptable Storage, which is unfortunate, so you cannot format the micro SD card as internal storage, but you do have the option to still use it for storing pictures, video, music and other files.

On our list below, there are plenty of great options available for the Honor 7X. Though many of the options are aimed at content creators, micro SD cards that are going to be great for recording video and storing pictures. This is because the Honor 7X has a pretty good camera here, even though it is a $200 smartphone, Honor was able to give it a dual-camera setup on the back. The SanDisk Ultra 400GB micro SD card is a great one for those that may want to start vlogging with their smartphone. As it's going to give you a ton of storage for storing videos and pictures, as well as some space for storing music offline, if you don't have an unlimited data plan with your carrier. There's also a couple of good 64GB models here, with faster read/write speeds, that are great for storing higher frame-rate video as well.

All of the options below will work great with the Honor 7X, and you really can't go wrong with any of them. Now if you have not picked up a Honor 7X just yet, you can still do that. Amazon has the Honor 7X for $199, though the red model that was released around Valentine's Day is no longer on sale, unfortunately. But it is still available in Black and Blue.

The EVO Plus from Samsung is another great option, with 256GB of storage here, you'll have plenty of space to take advantage of the dual-camera setup here on the Honor 7X. Additionally, it does sport 100MB/s read and 90MB/2 write speeds, which is also great to see here.

Those that just need a tad bit more storage, the SanDisk Ultra 32GB model is going to be a great option. Especially since it is indeed just under $15, that's a pretty good price to double the storage on your Honor 7X. Now while the Honor 7X doesn't support Adoptable Storage, you can still use it to store images, music and much more.

This is part of the Pro Select Series from Samsung, which basically means that it is optimized for content creators, and will work really well for storing pictures and video taken with the Honor 7X. Since the Honor 7X does have a really good camera already, you might as well take advantage of it with this micro SD card.

This is another micro SD card that is great for content creators. It's part of SanDisk's Extreme lineup which is tailor-made for recording 4K content and storing it on the card. Now the Honor 7X doesn't actually do 4K video, but it does do 1080p video, and that makes this micro SD card future-proof for your next smartphone purchase.

If you're looking for a micro SD card to give you just a bit more storage, this model from Kingston is a great one to pick up. It sports 32GB of storage, which effectively doubles the capacity of your Honor 7X, giving you more space to take more pictures or even store music offline.
