The Nokia 6 (2018) is now available for purchase in the US via Amazon, and we’re actually looking at a 4GB RAM variant of this smartphone, not its 3GB RAM counterpart. This variant of the device comes with 32GB of native storage, just like the 3GB RAM model, and it is priced at $270. Having said that, this is a black version of the phone, and it comes with the US warranty, and also free shipping.
Now, if you’re looking to get a model with 64GB of native storage, that variant is also available, and it comes in both Black / Copper and White / Iron color variants, but do keep in mind that this variant of the device (both colors) does not include a US warranty. As most of you know, this handset was announced at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, alongside the Nokia 8110 4G, Nokia 1, Nokia 7 Plus, and the Nokia 8 Sirocco. The Nokia 6 (2018) is inferior to the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco, but it’s still a really solid handset, as we’re looking at a mid-range smartphone, which actually offers a really solid build. This handset is fueled by the Snapdragon 630 64-bit octa-core processor, and as already mentioned, all variants that are available from Amazon in the US come with 4GB of RAM.
The Nokia 6 (2018) features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, and it comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. It is worth noting that this handset is a part of Google’s Android One project, which means that you’ll be getting stock Android with the phone, and chances are updates will roll out extremely fast. A 16-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of this device, while Carl Zeiss optics are part of the package as well. An 8-megapixel shooter is placed on the phone’s front side, while a 3,000mAh non-removable battery is included in the package as well, and the company claims that you can charge it up from 0 to 50-percent in 30 minutes thanks to fast charging. HMD has also included the Nokia OZO audio on this phone, and there are two SIM card slots (hybrid setup) available here as well.
