Garmin's 'Approach S10' watch will help you up your Golf game by giving you access to useful and important information right from your wrist, while also providing you with things like GPS, something which Garmin is most well-known for. That said the Approach S10 is more than just a watch with GPS and a few Golf-related features. That said one of the main focuses of this watch is to let the wearer know just how far they are from the green, and of course the watch is able to offer up this information thanks to the GPS inside of the watch. It accesses your GPS location and will tell you on the display how far you are from the green from the front, back, and middle of it.
The display is 1.3-inches in size so it should be plenty big enough for users to see all the necessary data at any point in time and boasting a battery life of up to 12 hours before needing to be recharged the Approach S10 makes for a good daily companion on the course. Speaking of courses, the Approach S10 has support for over 41,000 golf courses globally, so chances are it'll be able to serve up the data that it was designed to show you for the course that you frequently visit, though it's entirely possible that it won't as it likely doesn't cover every single course in the world.
While many wearables aren't water-friendly, the Approach S10 will come with a 5ATM rating which means it can be worn in the shower, you can keep it on your wrist during a swim, and if you get caught in the rain it'll be just fine. The watch will be released later this year, more specifically sometime in the second quarter though Garmin doesn't mention exactly when. Once it does hit store shelves though it'll only cost $149.99. It also looks like it will only be available in one color, Gray, and come with a silicone strap without the option to swap it out.
