Deal: YI Discovery Action Camera for $45 w/ Code - 4/5/18

Amazon has discounted the YI Discovery Action Camera today, bringing the price down to $45. However, you do need to use the promo code 8DP49IH8 at checkout. That will take the price down from $60 to just $45. That's a pretty great price for this action camera, and brings it down to its all-time low, though this action camera is brand new.

This action camera from YI is capable of 4K shooting, so you can do 4K at 20fps, or even 1080p at 60fps. Now it's great to have 4K here, but 1080p at 60fps is going to allow you to get even smoother footage, which is going to look great. That's thanks to the Sony IMX179 sensor, which is a 16-megapixel sensor. This is also a wide-angle lens, at about 150-degrees. This is going to allow you to get even more in your shot. YI does include eight different shooting modes here, including Loop, Time Lapse, Countdown Mode, Burst Mode and more. There's built-in WiFi here, with 2.4GHz networks, so you can easily send pictures and video over to your smartphone or even your laptop, and share the with ease. Finally, the YI Discovery Action Camera is also waterproof, at 40 meters. It's rated at IP68, but that is only with the case. Which YI does not include with the camera, unfortunately.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year (or $49/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
