Deal: SiliconDust HDHomeRun CONNECT for $65 - 4/5/18

Amazon has the SiliconDust HDHomeRun CONNECT on sale for just $64.65, which is down from its regular price of $99.99. Making it a great deal for those that are looking to cut the cord and save some cash, but still get local channels.

With the HDHomeRun CONNECT, users will be able to stream live HDTV to up to two devices simultaneously on your network. That means that unfortunately, you can't stream your local channels when you aren't home. With HDHomeRun CONNECT, you do have the ability to record shows on, as well as pause and rewind. So you can watch all of your shows with ease. Users also have the ability to expand the number of tuners by using multiple HDHomeRun devices, so you can then stream to more devices. It'll also stream in HD on 802.11 ac networks or 5GHz networks, while it'll stream in SD quality over other networks. This is due to the speed of the network, instead of continuing to change the resolution based on current speed, it'll stick to the same resolution, which is nice. HD resolution is actually 1080p, unless local channels are only streaming in 720p, then it'll stream then. HDHomeRun CONNECT is a great way to watch your local channels without needing an antenna in your home.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year (or $49/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
