Deal: Nest Cam IQ Security Camera For $199, 2-Pack For $339 - 4/25/18

Woot is currently running a great deal on the Nest Cam IQ Security Camera, discounting the camera to just $199, or you can pick up a pack of two for just $339. The Nest Cam IQ is typically $299 for a single camera and $499 for a 2-pack. So this is definitely a great deal, and puts it well below the lowest price all-time.

The Nest Cam IQ was announced last year by the Alphabet-owned company, and it's the most high-end security camera that Nest has built. The big thing here is that this is a 4K security camera. For most people, that will sound like it's overkill for security, and it really is. But the reason Nest went with 4K resolution is so that you can zoom in and still get a great picture. When you use a camera that does 720p or even 1080p quality, and you zoom in a bit, it gets very distorted and tough to see what's going on. That's not a problem with the Nest Cam IQ. There's also two-way audio here, so you are able to talk to whoever is in sight of the camera, whether that's your kids, pets or someone that shouldn't be there. Of course, with Nest, there is the app available for you to keep an eye on your home all the time, whether you are home or not. This is great as you can check in on what's going on, while you're out of town and such. Or even check in on your kids when they come home from school and make sure they got home safely.

Woot does offer free shipping, but only for Amazon Prime members. So if you are not an Amazon Prime member, you will need to pay a flat fee for shipping. Although you can also opt to sign up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime and still get free shipping here. So that's a great way to get around it, just remember to cancel your trial before it expires, or you'll be paying $99. Woot does not charge taxes either, which is pretty good for those that want a great deal.
