Deal: iRobot Roomba 690 Robot Vacuum for $299 - 4/17/18

The iRobot Roomba 690 is back down to just $299. That is the lowest it has been since Black Friday, nearly six months ago. That makes this a great price for this robot vacuum, and a great time to pick one up.

This robot vacuum from iRobot is a great one to grab. Since it is one of the "cheaper" models in the first place, but it does still do a great job at cleaning up your home. This is thanks to the 3-stage cleaning system that the Roomba 690 has included here. There are also Dirt Detect sensors around the Roomba 690 which tell it where to concentrate on cleaning up, to make sure your home is nice and clean. Now this is also a WiFi-enabled robot vacuum, so you can use the Roomba app on iOS or Android to control the Roomba 690. This includes setting up schedules for it to start cleaning, as well as telling it to spot clean and so much more. This model also supports Amazon Alexa (Google Assistant support is coming in the near future). So you can talk to Alexa and tell her to have the Roomba start cleaning your home. It's a really neat feature to have, especially since you can have the Roomba 690 begin cleaning when you aren't home.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year (or $49/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
