Deal: Harman Kardon Allure (With Amazon Alexa) for $199 - 4/30/18

Amazon has the Harman Kardon Allure Alexa smart speaker on sale today, knocking $50 off of the regular price. That brings the price down from $249 to just $199 for a great sounding speaker that also has Amazon Alexa built-in.

The Harman Kardon Allure is a great looking speaker from Harman, which is very common for its Harman Kardon brand. It also has LED lighting inside which illuminates when you are speaking to Alexa. It looks much cooler than any other Alexa-powered smart speaker on the market right now, and for good reason. The Allure does work with Alexa the same as an Echo, allowing you to use any of the thousands of Alexa skills that are currently available right now. The Harman Kardon Allure is more than just an Alexa speaker though. It is also a very good sounding speaker. The Allure actually sits above the surface it is sitting on, with a subwoofer facing down. This allows the bass to be nice and deep but not muffled due to it sitting on a table - or making a table vibrate. There are a couple of tweeters towards the top, which result in full-sounding audio from the Allure, and it's definitely one of the best sounding Alexa speakers out there. It's right up there with the Sonos One, but this one only uses Bluetooth instead of WiFi.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year (or $49/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
