Amazon Giving Out Echo Devices, Credit To Android Gamers

Amazon is now giving out Echo devices, shopping credit, and other rewards to Android gamers as part of a month-long Challenges initiative, the e-commerce giant said Friday. The Amazon Appstore-hosted promotion is meant to incentivize players to pursue achievements in a broad range of Android games and other apps, with the first three titles enrolled in the loyalty program being Caesars Slots, Survival Arena, and Family Farm Seaside, all of which are allowing players to acquire rewards starting today until April 15.

Reaching level 21 and registering a Clover Statue in Family Farm Seaside will net you $5 in Amazon credit over the next nine days, though that particular offer only applies to new players, i.e. those who haven't already fulfilled those two requirements. Survival Arena now has a new competition called Challenges which allows you to win one of Amazon's gadgets depending on how successful you end up being; first-placed competitors will win the new Echo, runner-ups will be up for a free Echo Dot unit, and third-placed players will receive the latest Fire TV Stick. Moreover, purchasing the "Amazon Special Offer" in-game item in Caesars Slots until next Sunday will also provide you with one Echo Dot smart speaker free of charge.

Starting April 16 through April 22, Seekers Notes will allow players to win $5 in Amazon credit by completing a time-limited Easter Egg Hunt event, whereas Sweet Road will be giving out $10 in credit to anyone who beats the final level of the Candy House stage. Toy Party will end this month's celebration of Amazon Appstore-hosted games, offering another $10 in credit to anyone who beats the tenth level of its time-limited Treasure Hunt, with that particular event running from April 23 through April 29. Winning specific challenges will also provide you with pieces for a six-part puzzle that you'll be able to complete for numerous other rewards, including $1,000 in Amazon credit and $50 discounts on the company's Echo and Fire-series devices.
