Vivo X21 UD Now Available In China, More Markets To Follow

The Vivo X21, which sports a regular fingerprint scanner, has been available in China for a few days now, and the phone’s variant with an in-display fingerprint scanner is now available as well, namely the Vivo X21 UD. Both of these phones were introduced by Vivo about a week ago in China, and they’re both now available via one of China’s largest online retailer, JingDong Mall, better known as

The Vivo X21 is priced at 3,198 Yuan on, while you can buy the Vivo X21 UD for 3,598 Yuan, if you live in China. The Vivo X21 UD is available in both color variants that were announced earlier this month, namely Ruby Red and Black. Now, the Vivo X21 and / or X21 UD are expected to roll out in additional markets, outside of China, in the near future, though we still do not know when will that happen, as Vivo did not release any specific info just yet. The Vivo X21 and X21 UD are almost completely identical when it comes to design, the only difference comes to their fingerprint scanner, as you will find one on the back of the Vivo X21, while the one in the Vivo X21 UD is basically invisible, as it’s placed under the phone’s display. In any case, the Vivo X21 (UD) comes with a curved back side, which is made out of glass, while the phone’s chassis is made out of metal. The phone’s display sports rounded corners, while a display notch is present here, though luckily it’s not too big. All the physical keys sit on the right-hand side of the Vivo X21 (UD), and the phone sports rather thin bezels.

The Vivo X21 (UD) features a 6.28-inch fullHD+ (2280 x 1080) Super AMOLED display, along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of expandable storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core processor, and it sports a 3,200mAh non-removable battery. The device comes with 12 and 5-megapixel snappers on its back, while a single 12-megapixel camera is included on the phone’s front side. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed on the device, while Vivo’s Funtouch OS 4.0 skin is included on top of it.
