OPPO R15 Coming On March 12, Official Images Now Available

OPPO has just released a set of official OPPO R15 renders. The OPPO R15 is the company’s upcoming smartphone which has been leaking like crazy in the last couple of weeks. Several video ads surfaced, the device got certified by TENAA, and OPPO even confirmed that the device will sport a display notch. Well, if you take a look at the gallery down below, you will see quite a few official renders of the company’s upcoming smartphone, renders which were published on the company’s official website.

Now, in addition to releasing those renders, OPPO has confirmed that the OPPO R15 will be announced on March 12, along with its sibling, the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror edition, both of which were certified by TENAA quite recently. The company’s official website also confirms some details when it comes to the OPPO R15. for example, it confirms that the phone will sport a 6.28-inch display, and we’re looking at a 19:9 display aspect ratio here. The OPPO R15 will feature 90-percent screen-to-body ratio, and it will sport a notch at the top of its display. Colors listed on the company’s official website are (rough translation) Heat Red, Starry Purple, Snow White and Mirror Red, though the last one shows off the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror edition, not the regular OPPO R15. A fingerprint scanner will be included on the back of the OPPO R15, and the same can be said for a dual camera setup. The OPPO R15’s back side resembles the OPPO R11s’ back side, actually.

Now, in the gallery down below, you will also be able to see a number of real-life images of the OPPO R15, as OPPO hired a number of Chinese celebrities to promote its smartphone, and each of those celebrities is holding the device in hand. As far as specs are concerned, TENAA reports that the OPPO R15 will sport 16 and 5-megapixel shooters on its back, while the Dream Mirror edition will come with 20 and 16-megapixel snappers. Both variants of the device will include 6GB of RAM, and each of them will ship with a 3,300mAh non-removable battery. It is also worth noting that you will get 128GB of storage as part of the OPPO R15 package (both variants).


UPDATE: OPPO changed the release date from March 12 to March 14 on its official website, for an unknown reason.
