Honor's latest flagship, the View 10, is finally available for pre-order today from Honor's online store. It will begin shipping to customers on March 22. The Honor View 10 was announced last fall, and got a lot of attention for the fact that it was a 18:9 aspect ratio device, with high-end specs like the Kirin 970 processor inside. That also includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, along with a dual-camera setup consisting of a 20-megapixel sensor and a 16-megapixel sensor. All powered by a 3750mAh battery inside. This all comes at a price that is pretty incredible, just $499 in the US.
The Honor View 10 does keep the fingerprint sensor, and it is located on the front of the device this time around. So despite having a 18:9 aspect ratio display, there are still some pretty large bezels, especially at the bottom. At least compared to other devices out there. Honor did also keep the dual-camera setup here, which has been pretty popular on its smartphones recently. But instead of just offering a dual-camera smartphone, Honor has infused artificial intelligence into the camera - and other parts of the phone. This is to be expected, since it is running the Kirin 970 processor. The Kirin 970 has a built-in NPU, which helps with AI and keeps the phone running smoothly. On the Honor View 10, AI is able to help you take better photos, by detecting the subject and adjust the white balance, shutter speed and more. So even if you aren't a pro, you can still take pro-level images.
Honor is going to be selling the View 10 on its online store here in the US. There's no word on whether it'll make it to other retailers just yet, but Honor does usually sell its devices through Amazon and Newegg, so it should be available on March 22. The Honor View 10 is going to be sold in two colors - Navy Blue and Midnight Black - for $499, as mentioned before. Honor is also going to begin selling its Sport Bluetooth Earphones for just $39.99, also available at Honor's online store, and will also ship beginning March 22.
