Honor 10 Prototype Leaks With A Notch, Dual Cameras

Alleged Honor 10 prototype has just surfaced, and yes, it sports a notch. Now, the Honor 9 was announced back in June last year, and its successor is expected to arrive in the same timeframe this year. That being said, the Honor 10 is expected to become Honor’s new flagship, and this is the first time the device actually surfaced. Naturally, we cannot confirm that this is the Honor 10, but it is possible, of course.

As you can see, we’re looking at real-life images of the device here, though, unfortunately, most of the phone’s design is hidden by a case, so we cannot get a good look at its bezels, or its back side. Having said that, it is clearly noticeable that the phone sports a display notch, though that notch is quite small, smaller than the notch on the OPPO R15, for example. A fingerprint scanner is included below the phone’s display, and it is flanked by two capacitive keys. Now, the Honor 9 did ship with a physical button, and two capacitive keys, though the Honor 10 is expected to sport on-screen buttons. This leaked prototype seems to disagree with that, and claims we may actually see capacitive buttons make a comeback. A dual camera setup seems to be included on the back of the phone, and those two cameras are horizontally-aligned. Next to those cameras, you will notice an LED flash.

This seems to be a blue-colored variant of the Honor 10, and that color actually resembles the color on the Honor 9, which gives this leak some sort of credibility, at least. The phone’s main snappers protrude on the back, they’re not flush with the phone’s back side, and the front side of the phone is black-colored, which was not the case on the Blue variant of the Honor 9. The Honor 10 is expected to ship with Huawei’s Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core processor, which is the company’s flagship SoC. The device will probably sport 6GB of RAM, well, at least one of its variants will. RGB and monochrome sensors are expected to be included on the back of this phone, and the device will probably ship with Android 8.1 Oreo, and Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.1 skin.
