GearBest Deal: Metal-Clad UMIDIGI S2 For $199.99

The UMIDIGI S2 is currently discounted on GearBest, it is currently priced at only $199.99, in case you’re interested. The UMIDIGI S2 is one of two UMIDIGI S2-branded handsets, and it was announced last year along with the UMIDIGI S2 Pro. This handset is made out of metal, and it sports a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, along with two vertically-aligned cameras on the back. This handset is heavily inspired by the Samsung Galaxy S8, which is easily noticeable based on its design. The phone does sport really thin bezels, though not as thin as some renders may suggest. The back side of the UMIDIGI S2 is curved, while its physical keys lie on the right.

The phone’s display sports rounded corners, while a SIM card tray can be found on the left-hand side of this smartphone. The UMIDIGI S2 features a 6-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable native storage. The phone is fueled by the MediaTek Helio P20 64-bit octa-core processor, while a 5,100mAh non-removable battery is also a part of the package. 13 and 5-megapixel cameras can be found on the back of the phone, while a 5-megapixel snapper lies on the front side of this smartphone. The phone does support 4G LTE connectivity, FDD-LTE bands, while it also comes with two SIM card slots (2x nano SIM). Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the UMIDIGI S2, while only the Black variant of the phone can be purchased for $199.99. The red-colored UMIDIGI S2 is not much more expensive, however, you can grab it for $209.99, just in case you prefer it over the standard Black variant.

The UMIDIGI S2 is 8.8mm thick, while it is 7.46mm wide. Chances are that the UMIDIGI S2 is not the lightest phone you’ve used, as it weighs 188 grams, but it’s not too heavy either, though that’s more of a personal preference.
