dlvr.it Announces Posting Changes Amid New Twitter Rules

dlvr.it has announced posting changes amid the new Twitter rules that were set out by Twitter for this year back in February. Twitter's new rules are due to take effect next Friday and in accordance with those rules dlvr.it is going to be rolling out its own changes within the next week to match up on timing. For businesses or influencers who use dlvr.it for automatic posting, this is going to change a lot of things as Twitter's new rules essentially state that auto-posting or scheduling a tweet to go out from multiple accounts is no longer possible.

For dlvr.it users it will only be possible to link one Twitter account to a single RSS feed for automated posting. So, auto-posting can still happen but you won't be able to set it up for more than one account following the changes. dlvr.it says it will deactivate any Twitter posting for accounts which have other accounts attached to a single RSS feed for auto-posting, though it has also stated that it would be working on new tools that will enable users to auto-post from one account then re-tweet it out to other accounts, though this is not yet available and likely won't be until after the changes happen next week.

Automated hashtags are also going away and will be deactivated along with the auto-posting to multiple accounts from a single RSS feed. It's important to clarify though that this only applies to the use of automated hashtags and not hashtags in general. If you set up tweets to post automatically and you have hashtags added into those auto-posts, moving forward you'll have to manually add any hashtags to those posts. For now things are staying the way that they are but it won't be too long before the deactivation takes place, so dlvr.it users will want to make note of everything prior to then. These changes that coincide with Twitter's new rules aren't the only changes dlvr.it is making, as it also states new features are on the way and it will be announcing those in the "coming days and weeks."
