Deal: Sony WH-1000XM2 Noise-Cancelling Wireless Headphones for $298 - 3/5/18

Amazon currently has Sony's latest flagship wireless headphones, the WH-1000XM2's available for their lowest price all-time. That's just $298, which is $50 off of their regular price, and an absolute steal.

The Sony WH-1000XM2 are a great pair of wireless headphones. These work over Bluetooth, and can be connected via NFC on the ear cup. So you can easily touch your smartphone to the ear cup and connect to these headphones. These are indeed noise-cancelling headphones, which are really great for noisy situations and for traveling. There is also ambient sound support, so it doesn't drown out all of the noise around you. Allowing you to still hold a conversation with someone - perhaps a flight attendant when flying. Sony says that the WH-1000XM2's will last around 30 hours on a charge, and that is with noise-cancellation turned on. If you turn off noise-cancellation, you can get another five hours or so of battery life. Which is pretty impressive. You do get smart assistant support over Bluetooth. So depending on the device you have connected, you can get either Siri or Google Assistant in your ear. Sony is also bringing native Google Assistant to all of its headphones over a software update, so that will be coming fairly soon. These are a great pair of headphones to pick up, especially at this price.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year (or $49/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
