Today only, Amazon has decided to drop the price of select Alexa-enabled devices by 20%. This is all due to the fact that it was named the company with the best "Corporate Reputation" in the 2018 Harris Poll. Amazon does often discount its own hardware when it wins awards like this, so it's not too surprising. But it does open up a great time to pick up a new Alexa device, whether that's a tablet, or a speaker.
For tablets, there's the Fire HD 8 that's available for $59.99, and the Fire HD 10 for $119. Which are great prices for these two tablets, that are also great for consuming media on. Additionally, the already super cheap Fire 7 tablet, is now just $39.99, the lowest price since Black Friday last November. On the Echo side of things, you can pick up the Echo Plus with its built-in hub for $119. There's also the Echo Spot for just $104 and the Echo Show for $159. These are some great prices, and are actually all-time lows for all three Echo devices as well. All of these products do sport Alexa built-in, so you can ask Alexa for different things like the weather today, the news, controlling your smart home products and so much more. Definitely a great time to pick up some new Alexa devices.
These items are also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year (or $49/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
