Red Honor 7X Arrives In The US For Valentine's Day

Honor has announced that the limited edition red Honor 7X will be available in the US for Valentine's Day. The limited edition smartphone will only be sold on Honor's website, and it will be priced the same as the regular Honor 7X - which is $199. The red Honor 7X was first announced at CES last month in Las Vegas, without any availability information given until now.

The Honor 7X is one of the best "budget" smartphones out right now, in fact the company believes that it'll be the best budget smartphone of 2018, even though it was released in late 2017. The Honor 7X continues the pedigree of the lineup, by giving consumers a great piece of hardware at a low price. The Honor 7X sports a 5.93-inch display, which is a 18:9 aspect ratio, so it is actually the same physical size as the Honor 6X that had a 5.5-inch display. It also has a Kirin 659 processor inside with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There is also a micro SD card slot available for expanding that storage, if needed. Honor also has a dual-camera setup on the Honor 7X, though it is not a Leica-branded camera (that appears to only be available on Huawei's smartphones). This one has a 16-megapixel main sensor, and then a 2-megapixel sensor that will gather depth data and such. There's also a 3340mAh battery inside, and it is running on Android 7.0 Nougat, though Honor has said it will get updated to Android 8.0 Oreo in the near future.

In addition to launching the limited edition red Honor 7X in the US, the company is also giving away ten red Honor 7X's for Valentine's Day. Entering is pretty simple. You'll need to "share a reenactment video on Instagram of the first time they met someone or something they love". Honor will then choose five winners based on video comments and likes. There are only five winners because each winner will receive two red Honor 7X's to do with as they please. Now if you are looking to pick up the red Honor 7X, you can do so by hitting the link below. Honor has not said how many red Honor 7X's will be available, but the number is limited, so you'll want to reserve yours before it's gone.
