Red-Colored Honor 7X Available In India Starting On Feb. 9

Honor has just announced that the Red variant of the Honor 7X will become available in India starting on February 9. Earlier this month, Honor announced that the phone is coming to India, while the company revealed its price point back then as well, but we had no idea when exactly will it become available for purchase. Well, now we do, and we also know that only the 32GB storage variant of the phone will be available in India, at least for now. The device will set you back Rs. 12,999 ($203), which is a price point of all the Honor 7X variants that are currently available in India.

The red-colored Honor 7X is here just in time for Valentine’s Day, and that’s exactly what Honor’s marketing is all about, which was to be expected. Do keep in mind that this is a limited edition of the device, so Honor has limited quantities to sell. The Honor 7X is made out of metal, it sports a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, above which you will notice a dual camera setup. The Honor 7X does sport rather thin bezels, especially for such an affordable smartphone, while all of its physical keys are placed on the right. Now, this is a mid-range smartphone, it sports a 5.93-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, while it is fueled by the Kirin 659 64-bit octa-core processor, which is Huawei’s mid-range SoC. The Mali-T830 MP2 GPU ships as part of that SoC as well, and is here for graphics processing. The phone will ship with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage it seems, while Android 7.0 Nougat will come pre-installed on the device, along with Huawei’s Emotion UI 5.1 skin.

16 and 2-megapixel cameras are placed on the back of the red-colored Honor 7X, while an 8-megapixel shooter lies on the device’s front side. A 3,340mAh non-removable battery is also a part of the package, while the device weighs 165 grams. Two SIM card slots are included in this package as well, and the same can be said for Bluetooth 4.1 LE. All in all, the Honor 7X does not differ from its siblings in the spec department, though the Honor 7X comes in several RAM and storage variants, so that is always worth paying attention to before you buy one of the Honor 7X handsets.
