HTC Launches U11 Plus In India With 6GB Of RAM, SD 835 SoC

HTC had introduced the HTC U11 Plus back in November last year, and it took the company a couple of months to launch it in India, as that is exactly what just happened. This is the very same handset that was announced a couple of months ago, and it's currently the most powerful handset HTC has to offer. The HTC U11 Plus is made out of metal and glass, while it sports a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and a single camera on its back, which is flanked by a dual-LED, dual-tone flash and a noise-canceling microphone.

On the right side of the device, you will be able to find all of its physical keys, while a SIM card tray is located at very top of the phone. The HTC U11 Plus' bezels are quite thin, not to the level of the Galaxy S8 or anything of the sort, but they're quite thin. The HTC U11 Plus sports a 6-inch QHD+ (2880 x 1440) Super LCD 6 display, which comes with Corning's Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top of it. The device actually offers an 82 percent screen-to-body ratio, and it is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor. The HTC U11 Plus offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage, while a 3,930mAh non-removable battery is also a part of this package. A 12-megapixel UltraPixel 3 camera (1.4um pixel size, OIS, f/1.7 aperture) is included on the back fo the phone, while an 8-megapixel selfie shooter (BSI sensor, 85-degree lens) is also here. The HTC U11 Plus comes with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, while HTC's BoomSound speakers are also included here.

Android 8.0 Oreo comes pre-installed on the phone, with HTC's Sense UI. You will be able to find two SIM card slots (nano + nano / microSD) in the HTC U11 Plus, and we're looking at a hybrid dual SIM setup here, which essentially means that you'll either be able to use two SIM cards at the same time, or a SIM card and a microSD card. The HTC U11 Plus has been announced in an Amazon Silver color variants in India, and the device is priced at Rs. 56,990. Starting from tomorrow, you will be able to purchase this handset exclusively from Flipkart, and the company has announced that a Ceramic Black variant of the phone will arrive to the country in the near future as well.
