GearBest Deal: Cubot X18 With 18:9 Display For $129.99

The Cubot X18 is a budget phone which we’ve reviewed a while back, and this budget handset is currently on sale. You can now purchase the Cubot X18 from GearBest for only $129.99, if you’d like, and the phone is available in both (Dark) Blue and Gold color variants. Despite the fact this is just a budget smartphone, the Cubot X18 does have a quite respectable spec sheet, and the build quality is also not bad at all, so read on if you’re interested.

This smartphone is made out of metal and glass, and it comes with a curved glass panel on both its front and back sides, even though its display is not curved, of course. A single camera sits on the back of the Cubot X18, with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner right below it. This smartphone does not exactly have thick bezels, but they’re not as thin as some renders indicate either, you need to keep this phone’s price point in mind. The device’s volume up, volume down and power / lock keys are placed on the right, while the phone features a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display. MediaTek’s MT6737T 64-bit quad-core SoC fuels the Cubot X18, which is MediaTek’s entry-level chipset. This smartphone packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage, while a 3,200mAh non-removable battery is also a part of the package.

On the back of the Cubot X18, you will find a 13-megapixel camera, while an 8-megapixel snapper sits on the phone’s front side. There are two micro SIM card slots on the inside of this phone, and you can also expand the device’s storage using a microSD card instead of one SIM card (hybrid dual SIM setup). Android 7.0 Nougat comes pre-installed on the device, while the phone does support 4G LTE (FDD-LTE). That is more or less it as far as the Cubot X18 is concerned, and if you’re interested in purchasing this budget smartphone, a purchase link is available down below.
