Deal: Unlocked Essential PH-1 Android Smartphone for $449 - 2/20/18

Amazon currently has the Essential PH-1 smartphone available for just $449. That's actually good for $250 off of its original price, but Essential recently permanently lowered the price to $499. So it's good for $50 off, which is still a great price for this smartphone.

The Essential PH-1 is by all means a flagship smartphone. It sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, with very minimal bezels. It does have a camera notch - and it was done before the iPhone X - which is very minimal and you really don't notice it after a while. There's the Snapdragon 835 powering this device, along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That's plenty of storage for most people, and that's a good thing, since there is no micro SD card slot available on the Essential PH-1, so you'll have to make due with the 128GB of internal storage. Additionally, the Essential PH-1 sports dual 12-megapixel cameras, with one being a monochrome sensor. It has actually become a much better camera than it was when it launched. Finally, the Essential PH-1 is powered by a 3040mAh battery.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap (usually $3.99) next-day shipping if you need it extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year (or $49/year for students). Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
