Deal: SanDisk Extreme 500 Portable SSD (1TB Capacity) for $288 - 2/9/18

Amazon has discounted the SanDisk Extreme 500 Portable SSD right now, bringing it down to just $288. That is down from its original price of $399. Making this a great pick up, especially since it does have 1TB of storage capacity.

The SanDisk Extreme 500 is a portable SSD that has 1TB of storage, and is great for taking on the go. Since it is a Solid State Drive, you are able to experience fast read and write speeds, which are great for editing video and such. SanDisk claims that read and write speeds will be up to 440mbps which is pretty decent, especially for this price. Now this does seem pricey compared to other external hard drives out there, that's because the cheaper ones are hard disk drives which are larger, but also much slower than a SSD. So if you're looking for removable storage that will be great over the next few years, this is the one to grab.

This item is also eligible for Amazon Prime's free shipping. Which includes free two-day shipping, and pretty cheap next-day shipping if you need it here extra fast. If you are not an Amazon Prime member yet, you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime by hitting the link below. You'll get 30 days free (if you're a student, you get 6 months), and then it's $99/year. Prime members do get a whole lot more than just free shipping though, so be sure to check out the full benefits.
