New OnePlus 5T Sandstone Edition Teaser Video Is Now Live

OnePlus has just released yet another teaser for the Sandstone Edition OnePlus 5T, this time around, the teaser arrived in a form of a short video, and it has been published by the company’s official Twitter page. OnePlus had released a teaser video via YouTube a couple of days ago, teasing the upcoming Sandstone Edition OnePlus 5T, and yesterday a teaser image was published by the company’s official Weibo (Chinese social network) page, suggesting that the device will be announced on January 5 in China.

Having said that, if you take a look at the embedded video down below, you will get to see the aforementioned video which contains various comments regarding the company’s Sandstone finish on their devices / accessories, and these comments from the company’s users published on Twitter. The first comment, for example, reads: “it’s grippy and it really makes handling the phone easier.”, while another comment states: “Sandstone is the reason I bought my first OP device…”. There are a bunch of such comments included in the video that has been embedded down below, and it’s a clear indication that a Sandstone Edition OnePlus 5T is on its way. Having said that, this variant of the phone will be announced in China tomorrow, it seems, but the company may wait a couple of more days to announce it globally, we’ll just have to wait and see what will happen.

OnePlus is currently selling a Sandstone case for the OnePlus 5T, which is available from OnePlus’ official website, and this China-based company had also released a Star Wars Edition of the OnePlus 5T a while back, which comes with a Sandstone back, so you basically know what to expect with this upcoming variant. The Star Wars Edition OnePlus 5T is available only in India and Scandinavia, though, so we’re expecting this new Sandstone variant to be available on a global scale, both in Europe and the US, amongst other countries, like China, for example. We are still unsure whether the company will release a white or black variant of the OnePlus 5T with a Sandstone back, or perhaps both, we’ll just have to wait and see what will happen.
