KOOLNEE, a China-based smartphone manufacturing company, has just announced that its new phone is on the way, the KOOLNEE K1 Trio. This smartphone follows the lead of the KOOLNEE K1 which was announced at the end of last year, and which has been available for purchase from GearBest for a while now. That being said, the KOOLNEE K1 Trio comes with even thinner bezels than its predecessor, and also a somewhat different design.
The company has shared a partial render of the smartphone, which has been included above this article, and below the article, you can check out the first promo video for the KOOLNEE K1 Trio. This video will not exactly show you the whole device at once, but it will show you parts of it. Thanks to this video, we can see that the phone will sport a front-facing fingerprint scanner, which will probably double as the device's home key as well. The KOOLNEE K1 Trio will sport a dual camera setup on the back, and below those two cameras, you'll get a dual-LED, dual-tone flash. The device will have really thin bezels, at least according to the provided render, and it seems like its design was at least partially inspired by the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. The KOOLNEE K1 Trio will be made out of metal and glass, and the company claims that the device will ship with facial recognition technology. A 4,200mAh non-removable battery will also be a part of this package, the company confirmed, and the device will be fueled by 'the latest MediaTek processor', though we're still not sure what SoC is that supposed to be, it's either from the Helio P-series, or from the Helio X-series of processors, depending on how much power KOOLNEE plans to include here.
Now, KOOLNEE also said that the KOOLNEE K1 Trio will be announced this month, quite probably, and that's pretty much it. If the phone gets announced by the end of January, chances are it will go on sale next month, but we're only guessing.
