Honor has recently announced that both the Honor View 10 and the red color variant of the Honor 7X will come to the United States soon. When it was launched last year, the Honor 7X was only available in three color variants, namely Aurora Blue, Midnight Black and Platinum Gold. However, the company announced during CES 2018 that the Honor 7X will soon be available in red. Only 200,000 units of this model will be produced, the tech firm mentioned, and it will be sold in the US, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, and India. According to the smartphone manufacturer, it will sell the red variant of the handset in the US with a price tag of $199.
The Honor 7X was announced by the smartphone manufacturer in October 2017, and it has been available in numerous markets, including the US. One of the key features of the Honor 7X is its 5.93-inch display with a resolution of 2160 by 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by the Kirin 659 chipset, which is comprised of an octa-core ARM Cortex A53 64-bit CPU running at up to 2.36GHz, and the Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. The handset contains 4GB of RAM, and it is available in variants that contain 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB of expandable internal flash storage. The device maker also announced that it will start retailing the Honor View 10 in the United States. This handset is expected to be priced under $500. The Honor View 10 contains significantly more powerful internals compared to the Honor 7X. The Honor View 10 is powered by the Kirin 970 chipset, the same SoC that powers the Huawei Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Pro. The chipset is comprised of an octa-core 64-bit CPU with a maximum frequency of 2.4GHz and the Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. The device sports a 5-99-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution, and it contains 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The dual rear cameras of the device are equipped with one 16-megapixel RGB sensor and one 20-megapixel monochrome snapper, while the front-facing selfie shooter comes with a 13-megapixel sensor. To keep the lights on, the handset contains a 3,750mAh battery, and it supports fast charging for quick top-ups of the device.
