Elephone U, U Pro Registrations Come With Free Premium Gifts

Elephone is now taking reservations for those who are interested in keeping up to date on the availability of its latest smartphones, the Elephone U and the U Pro. While also confirming that those who do register their interest will be able to take advantage of a free premium gift when purchasing. If opting for the standard U model, buyers can expect to get a free 9V2A quick charger, while those opting for the U Pro will benefit from the same 9V2A charger, as well as a 3D protective film for the phone.

These phones are largely very similar to each other and so buyers of either can expect a similar experience and spec list. For example, both phones are expected to become available in two different main configurations with one boasting 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and the other consisting of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Likewise, both will include a dual rear camera setup featuring two 13-megapixel cameras, along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. In addition to USB Type-C support and Android 8.0 (Oreo) pre-installed. As a result, the main difference to note is in the processor department with the standard U powered by a MediaTek MT6763 octa-core processor and the U Pro, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. Although some of the more advanced features offered specifically with the Pro model include facial recognition (Face ID) software, NFC, and wireless charging.

One point to note about both of these phones is the display as these are phones which feature a 5.99-inch display that not only makes use of a 18:9 aspect ratio, but also a curved AMOLED flexible screen. Resulting in a front panel that looks very similar to that offered by Samsung with its Galaxy S8 line. That is, with the expectation that these phones will be significantly cheaper when they become available to buy. In the meantime, those interested in learning more about either the Elephone U or the U Pro can do so by heading over to the registration page. In addition to checking out the official introductory video below which provides a more in-depth overview of the main specs and a closer look at the design.
